Sitges is a town about 35 kilometres southwest of Barcelona, in Catalonia, renowned worldwide for its Film Festival and Carnival. Located between the Garraf Massif and the sea, it is known for its beaches, nightspots, and historical sites.
The journey will start in Barcelona, where we will pick you up at your accommodation before sailing the beautiful Garraf coast.
Once we arrive at Port Ginesta, you will embark on a sailing boat.
You will start feeling the warm sea breeze as you sail along the Garraf coast. Sailing you’ll discover some of the most incredible highlights from a unique perspective. From your private boat, you’ll see the surprising old town of Sitges, the ruins of its ancient city walls and its beaches seeped in history.
We will anchor in Cala Morisca, and it will be time to put on your diving goggles, launch yourself into the water and discover all the secrets the Mediterranean has to offer.
After 4 hours sailing, we will pick you up, and we will go directly to Penedés Region
Penedés region is one of the most important wine and cava regions in Catalonia.
Our first stop will welcome you the local guide, an expert winemaker. You will start walking through the vineyards, where they will explain to you all about the history of this winery. You will learn how wine is done, from the vine to the wine.
While you are walking through the vineyards, you will visit the Romanesque church of San Juan Salem.
With this private wine tour, you will discover all about how wine is done, you will taste four charming wines, accompanied by some gourmet delicatessen.
Then, you will learn all about sparkling wine (cava), visiting another historical winery specialized in sparkling Wine.
You will have an exclusive opportunity to enter the Capella, the underground caves. Is the unique atmosphere of magical tranquillity created by the bottles in which this winery longest- aged cavas lay sleeping.
After visiting the cellar, the barrels rooms and the production plant you will taste four Gran Reserva Cava, accompanied with some tapas.
