Welcome to Barcelona!
The “Ciudad Condal” is located on the eastern coast of Catalonia, Spain. You are in the right city if you want to see different and unique places. Barcelona has gone from a small Roman outpost to a medieval potential port and from a Spanish potential industry to be one of the most run-down cities in Europe.
Finally, with its rebirth with the Olympic Games, Barcelona has become the city it is today. Nowadays, Barcelona’s doors are opened to the world and it’s a modern and international city being at the same time a unique and special place.
With this guided tour you’ll discover all about the Sagrada Familia, a master piece of Antoni Gaudi. During more or less 1 h30, we will explain you all about it; the history, legends, symbology, we will visit the museum… After visiting the Sagrada Familia, we will go by Taxi or Underground, and you’ll explore the ancient Roman and medieval city. You’ll have the opportunity to discover the city’s mysteries and secrets with an Official Barcelona Private Guide.
The tour continues at Plaça Nova, just in front of the Cathedral. Then, it goes over Carrer del Bisbe, ancient Roman Decumanus, passing through the first wall of Barcino, Plaça Sant Jaume and the Ancient forum, August’s temple with the remains of its columns, Plaça del Rei, Palau Reial and the Roman Wall through Via Laietana. Then the tour leads to Medieval Barcelona, the Jewish Call, La Rambla, and the medieval Wall.
And don’ t worry if you are tired of walking we can make a break all having a cup of tea or a chocolate cup with “churros” in an emblematic coffee shop

Just want you to know that Eli was amazing. She was really great. We learned so much and the tour was outstanding — covering where we are staying to Sagrada Familia to the old city. Outstanding.

Melanie organized an amazing trip for us. Suzie, our guide was just fabulous. She was flexible with our plan and designed the tour around what we were interested in. Her knowledge of the city was great and all her little stories & trivia made it so much more interesting. She knows the best restaurants, coffee shops and the coolest sites to visit. The visit to the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia was something that we will always cherish because Suzie explained every little detail in the Basilica.

My group of four had the best day with Miguel touring Barcelona. Starting on Las Ramblas and St. Josep La BoQueria to finding the Miro to the various churches and finally the Cathedral to the Roman arch and the Picasso to The Kiss to the tallest tree in Barcelona to lunch at the top of El Courte Ingles, we were enthralled with Miguel’s knowledge of the nooks and crannies and his patience with our questions and picture taking.
The whole day was full of learning but our highlight was definitely our tour of La Sagrada Família. Having Miguel to just ourselves made this part of the day truly special. Miguel was so knowledgeable about the Basílica and the images of the stone work. He made us love being there even more.
We walked miles and left with smiles and hopefully a plan to meet again when we return to Barcelona in April of 2022.

Suzie was absolutely amazing! She communicated promptly and offered multiple suggestions leading up to our visit. While in Barcelona, Suzie immediately welcomed us to her city with all her knowledge, warmth and lively personality. We instantly felt like we were visiting family as she draws you in and customizes your visit to make it what you want. Suzie’s love and respect for her culture are evident as she explains the history of Barcelona and offers many ideas for eating, shopping, day trips (Montserrat & Girona—both ‘a must’), relaxing & transportation. Suzie is more than a tour guide, she becomes your friend. She is honest, fair and spot on with all of her recommendations. We are grateful for the 5 star treatment and loved Barcelona even more because of Suzie!
